Come enjoy real Old Dutch poffertjes!
Welcome to the nostalgic poffertjeskraam from 1890, in the middle of greenery. This poffertjeskraam, originally from the Werk-Huizinga family, has a long history and has stood in Groningen and in the Open Air Museum in Arnhem, among other places. Since 2024 the poffertjeskraam has been given a beautiful place at the Henschotermeer.
Here we still bake our poffertjes according to a traditional recipe, with love and craftsmanship. Golden brown, fluffy and topped with real butter and powdered sugar.
While the smell of freshly baked poffertjes meets you, you can enjoy the peace and beauty of nature.
Slide in, taste the nostalgia and experience the real poffertjes feeling!
The poffertjeskraam is open on Wednesdays, weekends and holidays from 12:00-17:00, starting at the end of April. During the summer season we have different opening hours. See overview below for current opening hours.
Do you have something to celebrate? The Old Poffertjeskraam is also available for rent, including 40 seats inside.
